Using the term ‘influence’ within the astrological context to denote a cause that shapes human events can be misleading.
As highlighted in prior posts (such as “Is Astrology Experimental?” and “How Does Astrology Work?“), there is no causal relationship between the physical expressions of the planets or the zodiacal subdivisions and the individual’s fate. The significance of astrology lies in its purely symbolic expression of a manifestation that appears external but is, in fact, an integral part of our being. Consequently, a horoscope permits us to mirror ourselves in a celestial reality that reflects our inner selves. When we are one with the heavens, there can be no influence; instead, there is only synchronicity or the same quality of time. Thus, horoscope readings offer an opportunity to comprehend our destiny beyond simplistic illusions rather than establish the good or bad karma that the stars supposedly send our way.
