The term ‘influence’, used in the current astrological sense of a cause which determines the flow of human events, is misleading.
As I have already discussed in other posts, here and here, there is no causal link between the physical expression of the planets or between the zodiacal subdivisions and individual destiny. What makes astrology significant is the purely symbolic expression of a manifestation that appears as external but is an integral part of our being. So, the horoscope allows us to ‘mirror ourselves’ in a heavenly reality that becomes a sign of our inner self. If we are one with heaven, there can be no influence, only ‘synchrony’, i.e., the same time quality. Thus, the horoscope reading offers the opportunity not to establish the good or bad karma that the stars send us but to understand, beyond easy illusions, what our destiny is.
